BHOPAL: Home minister Narottam Mishra on Saturday accused Congress leader Rahul Gandhi of politicizing the action taken against him by Twitter. The social media giant restored Rahul’s account on the same day.
“Revealing the identity of a rape survivor is unlawful. Rahul Gandhi made this mistake after which Twitter took action against him. This does not mean he should make it a political issue. He should have apologized,” said Mishra.
The minister blamed leader of opposition Kamal Nath for “doing politics on every issue”. “Nath did not visit flood-hit areas. He should do something for the flood-affected people through big organizations like Rajiv Gandhi Foundation. Nath himself is a big man and could have at least distributed foodgrains in flood affected areas of the state,” Mishra said.
