BHOPAL: As transition of winters to summer begins, the morning temperature continues to vary in the state capital. There was a variation of almost 6 degrees from the low of 16 degrees recorded on February 19 compared to 10.6 degree Celsius on Monday.
Weather office predicted another round rain and thunder shower on February 24 in parts of the state especially in the eastern regions of Jabalpur division. The Bhopal office of the India Meteorological department (IMD) attributed the weather change in the coming days to western disturbances and cyclonic circulations over central Maharashtra and the Bay of Bengal. Bhopal may also face overcast conditions this week and temperatures may fluctuate again. “This may be the last burst of a brief cold spell,” they said.
In the forecast for Tuesday, Bhopal may record a minimum temperature of 13 degrees and a maximum of 29 degrees.
