BHOPAL: A 16-year-old girl was allegedly gang-raped by two accused at knifepoint, while their third accomplice recorded the incident on his smartphone, in Gunga three days back.
The trio also molested the survivor’s 9-year-old kin and shot her nude photographs and videos.
The terrified survivor, who had come to Bhopal at her relatives’ place, returned to her native town in Raisen district where she narrated her ordeal to her parents. Subsequently, the matter was reported to Sanchi police, on which, a Zero FIR was registered and the case diary was transferred to Gunga police station.
Gunga police upon receiving the information, on Tuesday registered a case on charges of rape and others under relevant sections of the IPC and POCSO Act and arrested the three accused.
The survivor told police that she and her younger kin were alone at home when the accused knocked on the door and said, they had come to take a donation. As soon as the girls opened the door, the accused pointed a knife at them and barged inside. After raping the older girl, the trio molested the younger one and disrobed her.
They recorded her nude photographs and videos and fled the spot threatening the girls of dire consequences if they revelaed the incident to anyone. SHO said, the accused reside in the neighbourhood, so the girls identified them; further investigations are on in the case.
