BARWANI: The first Additional Sessions Judge of Sendhwa in Barwani district on Wednesday sentenced a person to life imprisonment for the murder of his wife.
Public prosecutor Narayan Jadhav told media that Judge Vijay Singh Kavchha sentenced Palasia Pavara, a resident of Nadiabad of Pansemal police station area, to life imprisonment and fine for the murder of his wife Geeta Bai.
According to the prosecution, on September 9, 2020, the accused had killed his wife Geeta Bai with a sharp weapon due to a family dispute.
In this case, the statement of the son of the couple played an important role in getting the accused punished.
