BHOPAL: A 51-year-old man allegedly called a 23-year-old girl to his online kiosk in Nishatpura on the pretext of extending financial help on Monday evening and forcibly took her to an under-construction site in Eintkhedi, where the accused along with his three accomplices, gang-raped her.

Investigation officer SI Reena Suryavanshi said that the survivor works as a domestic help. The girl got information from her friend that the prime accused Yakub, who runs an online kiosk, provides financial help to needy people.

She called Yakub on Monday, after which, he asked her to come to his kiosk in Housing Board Colony Nishatpura.

She reached the kiosk around 5.30pm. Raghuwanshi said that the survivor alleged that when she reached, three men Abrar, 31, Rehman, 40, and Shariq, 29, were already present at his shop.

The accused took the girl with them to Abrar’s under-construction house at Islampura and gang-raped the girl.
