BHOPAL: Day and night temperatures are likely to come down in the state from October 28 onwards, says the city office of the Indian Meteorological department (IMD) on Monday.
In Bhopal, the minimum temperature recorded on Monday morning was 16 degrees Celsius while the minimum temperature recorded in the state was 15 degrees Celsius in Mandla, Chhindwara, Betul and Raisen. There is a difference of 14 degrees Celsius in the maximum and minimum temperatures in Bhopal.
The maximum temperature was recorded in Naugaon and Khajuraho where the mercury rose to 34 degrees Celsius on Monday The weatherman said that, “as the western disturbances have moved out from the state, the day and night temperatures would start declining after the change in the wind directions.” They said that the wind direction would become northerly bringing cold winds from the north to this part of India.
In the forecast for Bhopal on Sunday the meteorological officials said, there would be partly cloudy sky with possibility of thunder in the city. Day and night temperature in the city would be respectively at 33 degrees Celsius and 20 degrees Celsius while average wind speed will be 14 kmph.
