INDORE: BJP Rajya Sabha member Jyotiraditya Scindia on Sunday said that the Congress party has been quarantined and it is limited to ‘Twitter’ only.
Scindia was commenting on Congress’s reaction about his planned visit to the Malwa region after almost two years gap.
The former Union minister said, “The Congress party has not been able to do anything, and is limited to only passing comments with a thought and ideology based on jealousy.”
“Congress has been thoroughly quarantined and it is limited to social media only. The public of the country will keep the party under limits for the next 100 years,” Scindia said, while speaking to media personnel in Neemuch district. He even accused Congress of not having any concern about the people of the country during the Covid-19 crisis.
“Congress does not care about the people of this country. Had it cared for the people, its workers and leaders would have come forward during the corona crisis. BJP has done so much for the public during the ongoing pandemics pandemic to support the citizens of the country,” Scindia added.
“From distributing food and medicines to citizens, the ruling party has done a lot for the citizens of the country and state. Our state president even gave slippers to migrant labourers, which no political party in the world has done so far,” Scindia claimed.
Scindia also met the families of party workers who succumbed to Covid infection during the second wave of the pandemic. He also visited local BJP leaders and party members, including MLAs and enquired about the status of vaccination.
