‘Made use of additional time’

KOTTAYAM: The monotony of the online classes did not stop Harishankar M from securing the second rank in the Kerala Engineering Entrance Examination. The 18-year-old from Karamala in Kottayam district missed live classroom sessions but adjusted to the online classes and made use of the additional time he got. “Since I used to get the schedule for classes in advance, both school as well as entrance coaching, I could create a time management plan,” he said

Harishankar could find time for other passions like reading and badminton. He studied till 11pm every day and also ensured that he gets sufficient sleep. The support from teachers is beyond words, said Harishankar, who did his Plus Two from Chavara CMI Public School in Pala and trained at the Brilliance Institute for the entrance exam.

His father, P G Manoharan is a retired KSEB employee and his mother, P S Lakshmi works as a staff member in the labour department.
