"Most importantly of all, it showcased the bonds which tie the community together and make it such a special place.”

The Jerry Fish Electric Sideshow, CoisCéim Dance Theatre and Courtney’s Daredevil Circus were some of the entertainers at the event.

Local talent was also on show, which included the Voice of Darndale Choir, Sharyn Ward, Mark Flynn, Amber Kidd and the DanceX Youth Academy.

All events were free of charge and the festival was a Creative Places Darndale initiative, a three-year Arts Council project supported by Dublin City Council to incorporate arts into the daily life of Darndale.
