Made in Chelsea star Jamie Laing says fiancée 'almost died' during A&E dash

Made In Chelsea star Jamie Laing says his fiancee 'almost died' when she was rushed to A&E recently.

Sophie Habboo spent the day in hospital after waking up at 5am 'throwing up'.

Jamie, 33, said the pair has been eating oysters and drinking champagne, but that neither of them had drunk 'excessively'.

The Candy Kittens founder told the Private Parts podcast: "I clear her up and get her to the bathroom, we go downstairs and her lips are looking a little bit blue.

He continued: "I've never had fear like that in my life ever, we checked her oxygen levels and it was really low."

Jamie said the pair spent seven hours in hospital, when his Made In Chelsea fiancée had to be put on a drip.

He added that they are still unsure what caused the 'scary' sudden bout of illness, which came just days after they got engaged.

'It was the most intense four days I've ever had in my entire life, she was turning blue, blue lips and fingers. I was screaming in there asking if anyone could help us," he said.

Jamie shared a worrying photo of his wife-to-be hooked up to a drip following the hospital dash.

Sophie was sat slumped on a chair with tubes in her nose, but still wore her celebratory hat which read 'Mrs Laing to-be'.

Sharing the update with his concerned fans, Jamie said that Sophie hadn't been feeling well before she was rushed to hospital.

"Not so well little thing, but still wearing the hat," the reality TV star captioned the shot.

In another post, he reassured his followers that his wife-to-be was over the worst after he was inundated with messages of concern.

"To everyone who sent sweet messages, Sophie is all OK," Jamie posted.

The Made In Chelsea stars jumped on Instagram on Saturday to share the happy news of their engagement, as Jaimie announced he 'can't wait to spend the rest of his life' with Sophie.

Sophie gushed: "WE ARE GETTING MARRIED!!!!!!!!!!!! I cannot wait to spend the rest of my life with you."

Alongside adorable clip and pics of the pair, Jamie wrote: "I couldn't think of anything better than spending the rest of my life with you @habboosophie."
