Made In Chelsea's Ollie Locke and husband will use a surrogate to have a baby

Ollie Locke has revealed that he will be using a surrogate to have a baby.

The Made In Chelsea star, 34, and his husband Gareth, who got married back in November last year, have shared their plans to use an American egg donor with a British surrogate mother.

Both of them will provide their sperm, but they won't know whose sperm will actually be used to conceive the baby.

He told The Times this weekend: "We're mixing it up, so it'll be whoever's swims best on the day and we'll never know.

"Although if it comes out with yellow hair, it'll be Gareth's."

The couple have found a British woman to carry their child.

When COVID-19 travel restrictions are lifted they will fly to the US to meet their egg donor, they revealed.

Ollie also admitted that meeting Gareth changed his mind about having children.

The reality TV star said he felt a "void that I couldn't fill naturally".

He said: "I want my own biological child. If Gareth and I can't have biological children for whatever reason, of course we can discuss [adoption] but surrogacy is our plan first."

He wrote: "So I think it might be the time to tell you all! Gareth and I are very much on our surrogacy journey to become fathers.

"We are very nearly there, with the help of the best person we could ever ask for! (you know who you are, our heavenly surrogate)

"After many months of planning, legal formalities (I can't believe it has been so difficult) and building the next stage to our home, we will soon be travelling to America (as soon as we can, sadly fertility is not essential travel!!) with our surrogate and hopefully become pregnant.

"Whatever happens and through the ups and downs, we are going to take you all on our journey."
