‘Madden’ sim: Saints beat Cardinals 30-17

The actual game between the Arizona Cardinals and New Orleans Saints will kick off at 10 a.m. Arizona time. Then we will know what actually happens during the game. What does a game simulation say will happen?

Running a full simulation on Madden NFL 20, the Saints defeat the Cardinals 30-17.

The Saints score first on a 50-yard field goal but the Cardinals take a 10-3 lead on a Chase Edmonds touchdown run and then a field goal following a Patrick Peterson interception.

However, the Saints respond with a touchdown throw from Drew Brees to Ted Ginn and then get a field goal as time expires in the first half to take a 13-10 lead.

They don’t look back. They never give up the lead after that. The Cardinals pull within 20-17 but that is it.

Kyler Murray passes for 214 yards and a touchdown in the loss. Chase Edmonds rushes for 78 yards on 24 carries. Larry Fitzgerald has eight catches for 65 yards.

Drew Brees has 275 passing yards and three touchdowns to go with one interception. Latavius Murray gained 103 yards on 24 rushing attempts. Michael Thomas is held to 48 receiving yards on five receptions.
