If you love the NFL and you love video games, EA Sports’ Madden franchise is the only show in town for you. On Monday, EA released all the player ratings just weeks ahead of the game’s launch. You can check out all the ratings through their custom search tool right here. We dug into the Pittsburgh Steelers ratings and here are a few surprises we saw immediately.
— Only 14 players were rated 80 and above
— One of those players rated higher than 80 is linebacker Ryan Shazier
— Rookie linebacker Devin Bush is a 72
— The Steelers only have one player rated 90 or above (David DeCastro)
— Ben Roethlisberger is the No. 9 quarterback
If you think any of the Steelers are rated too low, they will have a chance to prove the ratings gurus wrong and move up when EA puts out roster updates. There were certainly some snubs on the roster and even a couple of guys who feel like they are rated too high.
“Madden NFL 20” launches on all platforms on August 2.
