Did the Madden curse strike Antonio Brown a year after the former Pittsburgh Steeler and current Oakland Raider was on the cover of the EA Sports NFL series?
In 2018, it was announced that Brown would be the cover athlete for Madden 19, and although some might say his fallout with the Steelers could be a case of the Madden Curse striking, there’s something else fans of the game noticed recently that’s a bizarre coincidence.
The game uses an engine called “Frostbite,” and as you may know, Brown’s feet were reportedly frostbitten because he used a cryotherapy machine without proper footwear.
People noticed the load screen on the game showed a photo of Brown and the Frostbite logo:
