EA Sports’ Madden franchise is the premier NFL video game experience. Starting with the very first “John Madden Football” in 1988, anyone wanting to play their favorite teams or players enjoys the Madden video game franchise.
With training camp set to begin later in July, EA Sports has begun to finalize the rosters and ratings for “Madden 20.” First up is adding in all the players selected in the 2019 NFL draft, adding them to the player database on the EA Sports website.
Check out the “Madden 20” player ratings for all eight of the Baltimore Ravens’ 2019 NFL draft picks, as well as undrafted free agent acquisition, wide receiver Jaylen Smith.
| Pick | Player | Position | Madden 20 rating |
| 25 | Marquise Brown | WR | 77 |
| 85 | Jaylon Ferguson | OLB | 70 |
| 93 | Miles Boykin | WR | 71 |
| 113 | Justice Hill | RB | 70 |
| 123 | Ben Powers | G | 64 |
| 127 | Iman Lewis-Marshall | CB | 67 |
| 160 | Daylon Mack | DT | 67 |
| 197 | Trace McSorley | QB | 55 |
| N/A | Jaylen Smith | WR | 61 |
Brown, Baltimore’s first-round pick, leads the rookies with a 77 overall-rating. But his 97 speed-rating and 81 catch-rating are probably what fans are most excited to see. Known as a deep threat at wide receiver, Brown’s speed rating will be paramount to his success for most Madden players.
Outside linebacker Jaylon Ferguson is also going to be a major player for Madden fans utilizing the Ravens. With the departures of Za’Darius Smith and Terrell Suggs this offseason, Ferguson will likely see plenty of playing time for most users. His 70 overall-rating isn’t great but with a 76 power-moves-rating, 72 block-shedding-rating and 80 tackle-rating, Ferguson should become an asset in run defense and as a rotational pass rusher.
EA Sports will slowly release the rest of the finalized player ratings ahead of their August 2 release date. Until then, practice your jukes and hit sticks to prepare.
