On Friday, EA Sports announced the release date, HOF edition cover athlete, pre-order details and some of the new features coming to Madden 19.
Shortly after the initial release of information, EA provided the first four screenshots from the upcoming game. The first one appears above and the other three are below:
In addition to the new screenshots, EA also released a timeline for its more in-depth rollout of information on new features. The new game will employ the Real Player Motion technology. Examples of that are displayed in the three screenshots above.
HOF edition cover athlete Terrell Owens is making a one-cut against Richard Sherman. Rookie running back Saquon Barkley is pushing a blocker out of his path rather than running around him as has been necessary for previous games, and the Pittsburgh Steelers are in the middle of the Goku TD celebration.
All three enhancements are intriguing. EA will release more information on RPM in Madden 19 on June 9. Also, new information on the new additions to Connected Franchise Mode will be revealed during the week of June 11. We already know we’ll see the return of custom draft classes, and that we’ll see archetypes arrive to enhance the team-building concept.
