Matty Cash knows it is crucial for Nottingham Forest to bounce back against Huddersfield Town today.
The Reds take on the Terriers at the John Smith's Stadium in the Sky Bet Championship this afternoon (3pm).
Sabri Lamouchi's men will be desperate to banish memories of last weekend's 4-0 home defeat to Sheffield Wednesday.
“It is massive for us to get a result, we need it," said Cash.
"We have just been beaten 4-0 at home. It is not good enough, so we need a reaction and I am sure there will be.
"This week in training has been brilliant, everyone has been on it and everyone knows that we need to pick it up.”
Forest have gone four matches without a win but remain only just outside the play-off zone.
“I have played in this league for four years and there is always a spell in the season, you are not going to win every game and there are always going to be blips, you just try to have fewer blips," Cash told Forest's official website.
“Against Middlesbrough we are 1-0 up with 10 minutes to go, we have to see that off, and against Millwall we are a goal up with two minutes to play and we have to see that off as well. Then obviously the result at the weekend.
“We have got a fantastic team, a great manager, great staff and great fans and we have to stay together and remain positive.
"It is a long season and we are only two or three points from third place. If you look at Preston, they lost four games in a row then got a win and are sitting in third, that is how mad the league is.
“You can’t get too low and when you win you can’t get too high, you just have to keep going.”
