Mad Fat Diary and Two Doors Down star Sharon Rooney in row with mum over her Sunday Brunch chat

My Mad Fat Diary star Sharon Rooney got into a row with her mum over a conversation she had during an appearance on Sunday Brunch chat.

Sharon, who recently appeared alongside Keeley Hawes in Finding Alice, had been a guest on the Channel 4 show ahead of her appearance on detective drama McDonald and Dodds.

In what could have been a scene straight out of Two Doors Down, he told the hosts her mum was going to make a Sunday roast.

She explained: "When I was on Sunday Brunch I told the hosts my mum was going to make a Sunday roast and I think she's annoyed at me.

Asked if she was annoyed her mum said dryly off camera: "Oh of course not. That's the only thing I want to do on a Sunday."

Sharon told her fans: "If you could see the look she's giving me."

She added: "She's raging, she's raging, she's raging. I heard her tell my dad 'She's told everyone on Instagram I'm making this bloody roast now as well'."

Sharon managed to annoy her mum on Sunday Brunch (McDonald and Dodds)

Sharon who told her mum she loved her and later popped some bubbly along with her roast sat down to watch herself on the telly in ITV's McDonald & Dodds.

She played he character of Doreen Warren, one of a group of friends who travel to Bath for a birthday celebration – only to be caught up in a murder investigation.

The episode was called 'We Need to Talk About Doreen' and the twist went down well with viewers online who suggested Sharon should have her own detective show following it.
