Mad Dog and Dragon Soop haul seized by cops after youths caught partying in Scots park

Youths were caught partying in a Scots park before police seized their massive Mad Dog and Dragon Soop haul.

Young people were caught gathering at Calderglen Country Park in East Kilbride flouting lockdown rules at the weekend.

Police responded to the scene as good weather saw people gather and drink in public spaces.

This sparked 'numerous anti-social behaviour complaints' as litter and smashed glass were left behind.

Police Scotland said: "Drinking alcohol in a public place is an offence and it leads to increased litter and smashed glass.

"This is not only an eyesore but can be dangerous for those walking with children and dogs in the area.

"Local officers throughout Lanarkshire work alongside the local residents, community councils and elected members to tackle anti-social behaviour and disorder.

"We are lucky to have beautiful parks and countryside in Lanarkshire, please work together to take care of these areas so they can be enjoyed for years to come."
