Mack Wilson named Browns’ biggest draft steal

Mack Wilson didn’t expect to be available in the fifth round of the 2019 NFL Draft. The Alabama linebacker was generally projected in the second or third round in most mock drafts. Yet there he was, still on the board as the draft’s third day rolled along.

Wilson’s fall was the Cleveland Browns’ gain. GM John Dorsey snapped him up with the No. 155 overall pick. Now Cleveland has one of the draft’s biggest perceived steals.

The move earned Wilson mention as the Browns’ biggest draft steal from Draft Wire. He beat out second-round CB Greedy Williams, who made several other lists as one of the draft’s biggest steals after unexpectedly falling out of the first round.
