All BO7 Machine of War Event free rewards and how to get them
The Machine of War Event is a collection-based event similar to Lost Outpost from Season 3. Instead of earning XP, you’ll collect Fuel Cans, which drop after eliminating enemies in BO7 Multiplayer, Zombies, Endgame, and Warzone. You can also obtain them by opening loot caches in Warzone or simply completing matches in Ranked Play.
Fuel Cans are easy to identify because of their bright green glow on the ground. After collecting enough, head to the event page and exchange them for rewards.
Rewards are split into three Fuel Can tiers: 10 Fuel Cans, 15 Fuel Cans, and 25 Fuel Cans. You’ll need to unlock each reward in order within its respective tier before progressing to the next one. Here are all the rewards and their tiers:

How to get the Soul Eater Camo in BO7 and Warzone
The Soul Eater is the Machine of War Event mastery reward. To unlock it, you must collect all 20 event rewards from the event. Once everything has been claimed, you’ll automatically receive the Soul Eater universal animated weapon camo.
The camo features a flowing water-like animation that gradually changes color while silhouettes of marine life swim across your weapon, making it one of the most distinctive universal camos released in Black Ops 7.
Fastest way to farm Fuel Cans and unlock Soul Eater Camo
The quickest way to complete the Machine of War Event is by playing Casual Resurgence or Casual Battle Royale in Warzone. These playlists include bots, making eliminations much easier. Every elimination reliably drops a Fuel Can, enabling you farm much faster than standard playlists. I was able to earn 30 Fuel Cans in a single Casual Resurgence match on Rebirth Island with an aggressive playstyle.
To maximize your Fuel Can farming, eliminate as many enemies as possible and open every supply cache you find. Prioritize Legendary supply boxes, as these have a higher chance of dropping a Fuel Can. Shoot down Supply Drones for additional loot opportunities. Stay active instead of camping to get as many eliminations and open as many loot caches.
Machine of War Event end date in BO7 & Warzone
The Machine of War began on July 30, 2026. The event lasts 14 days and ends on August 13, 2026 at at 12pm CT / 10am PT / 1pm ET / 6pm BST.
After the event expires, all event rewards become unavailable except for the Mammoth LMG, which will go to the Armory for players who are unable to unlock it during the event.
