Machine Gun Kelly drops out of Leeds Festival 2021 with organisers set to announce replacement

A big name Leeds Festival 2021 act has pulled out of performing at Bramham Park.

There had been rumours Machine Gun Kelly was pulling out of Leeds Festival and its sister event in Reading. Organisers have now confirmed this.

Posting on Twitter, they said: “Due to restrictions and logistics, Machine Gun Kelly is no longer able to perform at #RandL21.

“Keep an eye on our website for news of a replacement and other artist announcements.”

This is sure to disappoint fans of Machine Gun Kelly but hopefully an eye-catching act will take the American rapper’s place.

Last week, the Leeds Fest team announced a host of new acts for the 2021 line up. These included stand up stars Katherine Kelly, Simon Amstell and Joel Dommett.

Headline music acts for Leeds Festival 2021 include Liam Gallagher, Stormzy, Post Malone, Catfish and The Bottlemen, Biffy Clyro and Disclosure.
