Co-op staff were threatened by masked thugs armed with machetes and a meat cleaver during a terrifying robbery in Oldham.
Police were called to the store on Oldham Road in Grotton at around 7.40am on Thursday morning.
Two men wearing balaclavas went into the shop wielding the weapons.
They threatened staff before escaping with cash.
Co-op remained closed on Thursday afternoon.
A sign on the door read: "Due to a serious incident this store is currently closed.
"We are working hard to reopen as soon as possible so we can continue to serve our community.
"Sorry for any inconvenience caused."

GMP has launched an investigation and is appealing for anyone with information to come forward.
They said in a statement: "Shortly before 7.40am on Thursday 31st October 2019, police were called to a report of an armed robbery at the Co-Op on Oldham Road, Grotton.
"Two men - wearing balaclavas - entered the store armed with machetes and a meat cleaver and threatened staff. The men then fled the store with the a quantity of cash.
"No one was injured but the employees were left understandably shaken.
"No arrests have been made and enquiries are ongoing."
