Machete thug filmed himself torturing cat with spray paint before butchering it

A twisted cat killer caught carrying a machete told cops how he tortured the helpless animal before butchering it.

Stefan Wallace, 25, made sure to film himself torturing the cat with spray paint in what police fear was only his latest attack.

The thug was jailed for six months for animal cruelty on November 11, My London reports.

Wallace, of Dagenham, East London, made worrying comments about 'butchering' a cat when he was originally arrested for carrying a machete in public.

Following his arrest on October 1, Met Police investigated with the help of mental health professionals.

Officers watched extreme footage found on a flash drive at Wallace's home which showed him torturing the cat with spray paint before killing it.

PC Tony Kiddle said: “The footage found at Wallace’s address was disturbing in the extreme.

"During the filming, he removes his mask to adjust the camera, clearly confirming his identity."

Police fear Wallace has played a "sinister part" in the deaths of multiple animals.

PC Kiddle added: “Given the vast number of ways that domestic pets, roaming freely, can come to harm, it would be difficult to put a number of the level of his offending.

"But given the content of his home footage, I believe that it is likely that he has played a sinister part in the deaths of a number of animals in recent years.

“Wallace has exhibited horrifyingly cruel behaviour and it is reassuring to know that he has been removed to a place where he can cause no further harm to beloved pets.”

Wallace was sentenced at Barkingside Magistrates' Court and banned from owning or keeping any animal for ten years.
