MacChai Pakistani street food and dessert cafe to open in Glasgow south side

A brand new Pakistani street food and dessert cafe is set to open in the south side of Glasgow.

MacChai has found its new home at the old Baji's Bakery, just opposite The Gym on Cathcart Road.

Hoping to open at the end of April or start of May, the sit-in venue will serve up desi teas and desi snacks such as pani puri, samosas and chaat.

Also on the menu will be desserts, milkshakes and smoothies, desi and English breakfast, while delivery and collection will be available.

The new food spot will also open up a downstairs area for sit-ins which will be fully desi dhabba themed, with the ground floor space reminiscent of a Pakistani tea room.

We're looking forward to trying this out!
