That headline is not a typo.
Mac DeMarco — the Canadian singer-songwriter known for all sorts of music over the years, including an NSFW-named song that ripped on the Toronto Raptors — has released his new album, much to the surprise of fans.
But they’re going to have to carve out, oh, about nine hours.
That’s because his new offering, One Wayne G, dropped with 199 — !!!!! — songs. I have started listening to it on Friday morning, and I can report that I’m through about 20 of them. It’s quite a marathon.
Why? No word from the artist as of yet. But fans everywhere are reacting:
