M90 heavy delays after four-car crash on approach to Queensferry Crossing

Commuters heading into Edinburgh from across the bridge are experiencing long delays after a four-car crash on the M90 heading southbound.

The incident happened shortly after 7am this morning on the busy rush hour road on approach to the Queensferry Crossing at Ferry Toll.

Lane two (of two) was blocked but has now been reopened after the vehicles were moved to the hard shoulder.

This added to already existing congestion and traffic is now queued back 1.5 miles to J2 Pitreavie adding a delay of ten minutes to the journey.
