M90 crash causes travel chaos as dramatic photos show wreckage aftermath

Drivers are facing travel chaos on the M90 after a crash that is causing huge tailbacks.

The alarm was raised after the smash happened close to the Admiralty Junction at around 12:20pm on Monday, October 18.

Cops remain at the scene of the collision, which involved three cars.

Dramatic photos show the aftermath with one motor's bonnet almost completely crushed from the impact.

Another car involved in the crash appears to have smashed into the barriers on the central reservation.

Despite the wreckage left behind, police confirmed no has been seriously injured in the incident.

In a statement on social media, road police officers said they remained at the scene this afternoon.

They wrote: " #FifeRP are currently dealing with this 3 RTC on the M90 close to the Admiralty Junction.

"Luckily only minor injuries. Please plan for longer journey times & avoid the area if possible and drive to the road conditions as its "more than a tad dreich" thanks."

Drivers are being told to plan for delays with lanes one and two heading soutbound at the slips at junction one still closed.

Police Scotland have been contacted for comment.
