M90 crash affecting Queensferry Crossing traffic with lengthy delays southbound

A road crash on the M90 is causing long queues on approach to the Queensferry Crossing.

Two vehicles were involved in an accident on the southbound route near junction 2A Halbeath with the A92. The entry slip is said to be blocked off.

Police are currently on the scene dealing with the incident, although this is causing lengthy delays for drivers heading south from Fife towards the Queensferry Crossing.

The cars were moved at around 12.10pm and the incident cleared. although some queues remained.

Traffic is likely to be busy on approach to the capital for much of the day with thousands of people arriving in town for tonight's Spice Girls concert at BT Murrayfield .
