
Emergency services have raced to the scene of a four-vehicle crash on the M9.
The incident happened around 2.05pm this afternoon on the motorway northbound near junction six.
Police say the collision involved four vehicles.
Emergency services are at the scene making the road safe again.
It is not yet known if there have been any injuries from the incident.
Traffic Scotland issued a warning to motorists as long waits are likely while the incident is attended to.
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “Around 2.05pm on Friday, 16 July, officers were called to the M9 near junction 6, following a report of a four-vehicle crash. Emergency services remain at the scene.”
