Commuters have been disrupted on the M8 motorway this evening after a rogue swan got in the way of traffic.
Traffic Scotland have reported that one of the lanes on the westbound M8 - at Junction 16 George Square - has been blocked, with a coach stopped trying to protect the swan from being hit.
Their Tweet, published at approximately 7.30pm this evening (Thursday), read: "M8 westbound J16 George Sq. - lane 3 blocked by coach trying to protect a swan on the road, be aware slow down on approach."
Traffic Scotland have since issued an update advising police are at the scene in a bid to herd the swan off the road.
