Motorists travelling on the M8 this morning are warned to keep their eyes peeled after a rogue swan made its way onto the motorway.
Traffic Scotland advised of the 'hazard' on the M8 West Street off ramp just after 8.30am this morning (Wednesday).
They Tweeted: "NEW 08.33 #M8 Hazard There is a swan at the #M8 West Street off ramp causing some problems this morning."
Tweeters have since replied with their concern for the animal, with Beautiful*Sinner saying: "Please someone save this swan!", while Lynne Thomson added: "I would say most of the problems are for the swan! Poor thing, it must be terrified."
