Commuters are facing lengthy delays this morning after a multi-vehicle crash closed the M8 .
Officers from Police Scotland shut lanes one and two of the motorway at junction 15 just before 9am.
The road has now been reopened however there are tailbacks to junction 10 at Glasgow Fort as a result of the smash.
Cops are currently on the scene.
It is not known at this stage if anyone was injured in the crash.
Police Scotland have been contacted for comment.
Traffic Scotland tweeted: "#M8 W/B- all lanes now CLEAR and running. However traffic is queuing back to J10 Glasgow Fort, and southbound the #M80 is queueing from J3 to join the M8."
