Man arrested in connection with road crash on M8 in Glasgow

A man has been arrested in connection with a road crash on the M8 in Glasgow this morning.

Traffic Scotland confirmed the collision took place in the early hours on Thursday.

Four lanes were closed in the immediate aftermath of the crash, while one lane remains closed and traffic slow at Kingston Bridge.

There were no injuries as a result of the crash.

A Police Scotland spokesperson said: "We received a report of a one car collision near junction 15 of the M8 around 4.30am on Thursday, 28 October.

"All four lanes were initially closed. One lane remains closed while debris is being removed.

"There were no injuries to the driver and two passengers. A 30-year-old man has been arrested in connection with the incident."
