A road closure is in place on the M8 after an early morning road crash, with traffic chaos on the motorway.
The smash happened around 6.36am this morning close the Kingston bridge.
It is unclear if anyone has been injured at this stage.
The incident has triggered delays and congestion near junction 24.
Police have now closed the off-slip at Bothwell Street as a result.
Drivers are being urged to take alternative routes and plan their journeys in advance.
Traffic Scotland said: "Lane 1 restricted on the M8 off slip at the Kingston bridge due to a road traffic crash.
"There is no entry, do take care on the approach.
"Traffic slowing from J24 with routes through the city also congested.
"The M8 off slip at Bothwell Street is also currently closed.
"Traffic is slowing from junction 25 at the Clyde Tunnel with around a 15 minute delay on the approach.
"Give yourself plenty travel time this morning."
Traffic Scotland confirmed shortly before 8am the road remained closed, with delays of at least 30 minutes heading into rush hour.
Police Scotland have been contacted for comment.
