A crash is causing travel disruption on Scotland's busiest motorway for the second day running.
An accident involving a car and a van has resulted in lengthy delays on the westbound carriageway of the M8 near Bathgate.
Traffic Scotland reported news of the collision at around 4.25pm, and one lane has been blocked off. Traffic cameras also appear to show that the exit slip is also partially affected.
Tailbacks are to be expected, and this is likely to cause a significant headache for those planning to use the route for their evening commute.

Edinburgh Live reported around this time yesterday (Tuesday) that an accident on the M8 was causing delays between Edinburgh and Livingston. This resulted in queuing traffic throughout the evening rush hour.
