An accident is this afternoon causing lengthy delays on the M8 in West Lothian.
Traffic Scotland reported news of the collision shortly before 1pm today (Friday).
One lane was closed on the westbound carriageway close to junction 3A for Bathgate. Emergency services then moved the accident on to the exit slip and this has been partially blocked.
Traffic is said to be "slow on approach" as a result although lane two has now reopened.
