A crash is causing commuter hell for motorists on the M8 this morning with long delays expected.
Traffic Scotland took to Twitter shortly before 7am to report the incident, writing: "Traffic is very slow form J3a (M8)."
The smash is thought to have taken place on the stretch of busy motorway between junction two and junction three on the M8.
One lane is blocked as a result and traffic is now queueing between Livingston Road and junction two on the M9.
This is likely to cause long delays for the rest of the morning, until traffic returns to normal.
