A crash on the M8 is causing long delays for commuters this morning.
A van was involved in a crash on the busy road while heading east into the city shortly before 7am this morning.
One lane was closed for a short time on approach to the roundabout at junction one Hermiston Gait.
All lanes have now been reopened and the vehicle has been moved to the hard shoulder.
However the incident has added congestion on the M8 with traffic now queueing in the area. Drivers are being urged to approach with caution.
Traffic Scotland said: M8 E/B J1 Hermiston Gait - lane 3 is closed on approach to the roundabout due to an RTC involving a van. Traffic busy in the area."
