Drivers are facing major delays on the M8 this evening.
The Kingston Bridge was closed completely on the eastbound route for the past half an hour, while two lanes were also shut on the west bound side.
Motorists reported being stuck in their vehicles around the Junction 19 area for at least 30 minutes.
Eyewitnesses said some could be seen getting out of cars while caught up in the congestion.
The lanes have now been fully reopened, but the congestion will take some time to clear.
