Commuters are facing chaos on the M8 as an early morning crash sparks rush hour delays in Glasgow.
Lane three was blocked eastbound earlier before junction 27 offslip following a road traffic accident at around 7.10am.
Traffic built up in both directions near to Glasgow Airport.
The accident cleared just before 8am but there could still be delays.
Traffic Scotland warned drivers of the delays.
They tweeted: "M8 eastbound before J27 offslip RTC - lane 3 of 3 is BLOCKED - traffic queuing on approach."
