It's the motorway which has slashed journey times between Ayrshire and Glasgow.
But it turns out drivers are quick to have a moan about the M77.
The fully extended stretch, where works were completed in 2005, has improved the life of commuters.
However, new research has shown that motorists are quick to be negative about their experience on the road.
Zuto Car Finance used social sentiment data from Twitter to reveal which UK motorways generate the most conversation, along with ones receiving the most positive and negative tweets.
And the M77 came in at number seven on the top 10 'moaned about' list with the amount of negative tweets it receives.
