A busy road between Ayrshire and Glasgow has a lane closed due to an accident.
The M77 heading northbound just past the East Kilbride/Newton Mearns exit has heavy tailbacks.
A car has collided with the barrier and is turned on to the motorway.
The accident happened at around 3.45pm and there is still a lane closed as emergency services deal with the incident.
