An off-slip on the M74 has been closed due to an HGV crash in the early hours of this morning.
The Junction 8 at Canderside slip in South Lanarkshire is currently shut off and the lorry is yet to be recovered after the incident, which happened at around 1:20am. It will remain closed while Transerv repair "substantial" damage to barriers.
Drivers are advised to seek an alternative route if possible and allow extra time for their journey.
