M74 crash causes traffic delays for morning commuters

A crash on the M74 has led to traffic delays for Glasgow commuters this morning (Wednesday).

Traffic Scotland have advised of a road traffic accident between the sliproads at Junction 6 heading northbound, near Motherwell.

Lane 2 of 2 is partially blocked and traffic is building.

Traffic Scotland Tweeted at 8.12pm to say: "#M74 RTC N/B Lane 2 (of 2) partially blocked due to an RTC between the slips at J6 Traffic is very slow getting pass."

It is not yet known whether anyone has been injured as a result of the crash.
