A woman has been hospitalised following a crash between two cars and a van on the M74.
There were traffic delays of around an hour following the collision which took place at Junction 2 on the southbound motorway shortly before 1pm this afternoon (Monday).
Police confirmed details of the incident and said there were no reports of any other injuries.
The condition of the woman hospitalised is unknown at this stage.

A Police Scotland spokesperson said: "Around 12.50 pm on Monday, 22 November, 2021, police were called to a three vehicle road crash - van and two cars - southbound on the M74, J2.
"A female driver of one of the cars has been taken by ambulance to the QEUH. No details on any injury. No reports of anyone else requiring medical assistance.
"The road is now open. No further police action."
