Traffic is building on the M62 near Leeds this afternoon due to a crash which has seen two lanes closed.
There are delays of more than six miles on the eastbound carriageway following a crash between junctions 27 for Gildersome and 25 for Brighouse.
It has resulted in two lanes being closed, with all traffic funneling into the inside lane of the motorway.
A tweet from Highways England says: "Please be aware this incident is currently causing approx. 6.3 miles of congestion on the #M62 eastbound between J25 #Brighouse and J27 #M621 near #Leeds adding at least 30 minutes to normal journey times.
"Please plan ahead if travelling this afternoon."
