A shocking lorry crash has closed the M6 in both directions after two HGVs collided this morning.
Dramatic pictures show one lorry on its side next to a crushed central reservation and goods scattered across the motorway.
The two HGVs collided during the early hours, sparking traffic and travel chaos for many motorists travelling in the Midlands.
The vehicles crashed at junction 10 near Walsall closing the northbound and southbound directions, BirminghamLive reports.
Highways England are at the scene working to clear the wreckage.
A spokesman said: "The M6 northbound and southbound at junction J10 is blocked due to an accident involving a vehicle crossing the central reservation.

A Central Motorway Police Group spokesman confirmed no injuries have been reported from the collision.
He said: "Owing to a collision between two heavy goods vehicles at junction 10 there will be delays in the area throughout the day, please find an alternative route."
The spokesperson for the body added: "Luckily no injuries."
Motorists travelling on the M6 towards Wednesbury, including the Ikea and Gallagher Retail Park, were warned of the long delays.

Football fans heading to Norwich City at Molineux were advised to take more time over their journeys to the stadium for the 2pm kick-off to see Wolverhampton Wanderers and Norwich City.
West Midlands Network, which overseas public transport in the West Midlands, tweeted: "Due to a lorry on its side, the M6 is currently closed in both directions at J10 Walsall.
"Traffic is diverting via the slip roads and roundabout above the motorway. Expect delays to your journey."
Motorists criticised dangerous driving on Twitter and said the road layout at the scene of the crash is risky.
One person wrote: "I'm sure drivers lose their minds on this stretch. The standard of driving is awful and not helped by 'smart' motorways constantly varying the speed limit without reason."
Another commented: "The amount of near misses I see around that stretch is unbelievable. Three junctions in close proximity doesn't help at all."
