The M53 has had to be closed after a car trailer overturned near Cheshire Oaks this morning.
The crash happened on the M53 Northbound at J10 A5117, Little Stanney.
As a result the motorway has been closed at that junction to northbound traffic.
This is affecting traffic heading from Chester towards Birkenhead.
At this stage there have been no reports of injury.
Travel monitors INRIX said: "Main carriageway closed due to overturned car trailer on M53 Northbound at J10 A5117 (Little Stanney). Traffic is coping well."

The incident happened around 7.20am.
INRIX added: "A car trailer has overturned in lane two (of two) resulting in traffic to be sent off. This is affecting traffic heading from Chester towards Birkenhead."
North West Motorway Police said: "We currently have a collision on M53 northbound between junction 10 and 9 (Ellesmere Port).
"Highways England at scene dealing. There is a trailer in lane 3."

Warning motorists Highways England tweeted: "The #M53 northbound at #J10 (#Queensferry #Stanlow #CheshireOaks) is closed within the junction.
"All traffic is being brought off via the exit slip, to then re-join via the entry slip road due to a collision. Traffic Officers & Recovery are currently at scene."
