Cribbs Causeway shoppers are being held up by a broken down vehicle on a main route coming out of the retail park.
A lane has been closed on the M5 Southbound because of the vehicle failure.
Traffic monitoring site Inrix says: "M5 Southbound lane closed on exit slip road to Merlin Road due to broken down vehicle at J17 A4018 (Cribbs Causeway). Lane one (of two) is closed."
